When I was a girl, my mother saved for months to buy me a dress for school. The other children laughed at it. I never wore it again, and I never told her why.

That day is the reason I went into clothing. I learned it with my hands, first folding sweaters on a shop floor here in New York, later in the buying office. Which fabric keeps its shape after a wash. Which seam gives out first. Which cut is honest to a real body instead of a photograph.

Everything I learned goes into this collection. Every piece is chosen by hand, by me. Fabric first, then fit, then price. If I think a woman could feel looked at in it for the wrong reason, it does not make the site. Thank you for being here. It means more than you know.
